That was such a beautiful interview between friends. And so timely. My only is finishing his freshman year in college tomorrow. And yet we are still figuring out when he's coming home... Do I help him this weekend or the following weekend? Giving them the space to grow and the grace for lack of communication, yet also grace to me for the so many changes for this mama! I can't wait to order the book and share it with my girlfriends

It's so hard to know the "right" thing to do (and also: is there even a right thing to do, or just the thing we do, and hope it all works out OK?!) I appreciate the support for the book and hope you find it really helpful, Mary.

Thanks for the wonderful interview! I have five children. My oldest turns 26 soon and my youngest is 13. I am sort of dreading when my youngest two leave for college. I don’t know who I will be then. Thank you for discussing this topic!

It's SO different when the youngest start getting close to leaving. It really didn't hit me until #3 left - "Oh, this is really happening." When #4 left I struggled. And two years from my youngest reaching adulthood, I feel not quite ready to contemplate what life will look like once she's gone!

The passages you read and this interview were so beautiful and heartfelt. It definitely made me teary-eyed. My oldest will be starting middle school next year and I'm feeling so many emotions about it. Thank you for the recommendation.

I really need this book! Before I buy the physical book, does anyone know if there are a plans to release an audio version on Audible?

Hi Jan! I just sold the audio rights to the book, so there will eventually be an audiobook…but I’m guessing it’ll be quite a while before it’s available. Thank you for your interest!
